Wilders plans new film about ‘Islamisation’ of West

The far-right Dutch MP Geert Wilders is planning a follow-up of his provocative anti-Koran film, Fitna. The outspoken, peroxide-blond leader of the opposition Freedom Party, who has labelled the Koran “fascist”, says the new film will deal with the growing Islamisation of Western countries.

“Our doors are wide open to mass immigration from Muslim countries and I want to show the consequences of this,” Mr Wilders told the newspaper De Telegraaf. The film would tackle freedom of speech and Sharia. “And I will offer solutions,” he said. for more click here

US: Palestinians don’t have to recognize ‘Jewish state’

The US State Department at the weekend issued a statement rejecting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel’s status as “the Jewish state” as a condition for renewing peace talks. Netanyahu’s demand was a response to American and European pressure that he publicly commit to the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian Arab state as the outcome of the peace process. Netanyahu wants to ensure that if he bows to that pressure, the world understands and acknowledges that the other state west of the Jordan River is first and foremost the homeland of the Jews.for more click here

UN rights chief slams critics of racism meeting

GENEVA (AP) — The U.N.’s top human rights official hailed the global body’s second racism conference as a success Friday, despite what she called a disinformation campaign that almost derailed the meeting.

Navi Pillay, who spoke as the five-day conference wound down, said countries managed to go beyond issues such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to discuss broader problems of discrimination and intolerance in many parts of the world. for more click here

Schools to close on Muslim holidays in order to cut absence rates
