I was re-reading President Bush’s address to a Joint Session of Congress and the American People and wondered what he would have said if we knew then what we know now of the Islamist threat to the world.

So I took the most important parts of his speech just after 9-11 and re-wrote portions of it to reflect what we know today that, unfortunately, is not well understood by the general pubic, Congress or the MSM. That we are not fighting a war on terror but a war against an ideology – Islamism.

NEW DELHI: India’s defense minister said on Tuesday that there were dozens of militant training camps active near Pakistan’s border with India that had not been dismantled by authorities there. “As long as the terrorist camps are functioning in the border areas in Pakistan soil, certainly there is a threat to India, and it is a fact,” AK Antony said in the southern state of Kerala, PTI news agency reported. Rifqa Bary, the Ohio girl who converted from Islam to Christianity and fled from her family in fear for her life, prevailed. She will not be sent back to her father who threatened her life. But she got no help from the mainstream media. Either they didn’t report her story or when they did, they printed half-truths and deceptions to whitewash Islam. The media demonized Christianity (“brainwashed by a cult”) while inaccurately reporting the facts in order to avoid reporting about the violent ideology of Islam. They have become almost as depraved as the murderers they cover for. And in doing so, the mainstream media has missed quite a lot that is crucial to Rifqa’s story. for more click here

For years it was American State Department and Pentagon policy to train and arm Yassir Arafat’s Terrorists. We did the same in Afghanistan when America trained and armed Al Qaeda and Bin Laden’s Terrorists. At least there our opponents was the vaunted Soviet Union. for more click here

Arab violence against Jews is often alleged to have begun with the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 or as a result of Israel’s capture in 1967 of territories occupied by Jordan. But even before the Mandate for Palestine was assigned to Great Britain by the Allies at the San Remo Conference (April 1920) and endorsed by the League of Nations (July 1922), Palestinian Arabs were carrying out organized attacks against Jewish communities in Palestine. Systematic violence began in early 1920 with murderous assaults by groups of local Arabs against settlements in the north and by Muslim pilgrims against Jerusalem’s Jews. Again in 1921, Arab rioters attacked Jews in Jaffa and its environs. The primary agitator behind these attacks was Haj Amin al Husseini, who marshalled Arab discontent over Jewish immigration into violent riots. for more click here
